I still have a couple of Teflon coated pans, but I rarely use them. However, without thinking, I just bought a waffle maker that I'm sure is Teflon coated. Guess I will be looking for a healthier option for this.

You did bring up places that I hadn't thought contained the chemical compounds found in Teflon: dental floss (Who would have thought?) I guess anything that is non-stick or water-repellent is probably a Teflon product.
