Instead of focusing on writing about followers, determine what you are passionate about and research the number of people search that tag. It is so much easier to write what you are passionate and get some momentum going because it doesn't feel forced.

I almost skipped this article because of the title. Those of us who have been here a while and those of us who are published writers know that writing well and gaining an audience takes time.

Keep at your writing, but don't just follow what others do. You do you!
