Some interesting thoughts. As I look out my office window, however, I question that the beauty of our Earth was lost decades ago. As I stand in my back yard, I still see the stars in the sky. I hike the Smokies. Much is being done to preserve what we realize could be lost before it is all truly gone.
I agree that far too many corporate leaders don't value the natural resources, but I do believe that we are more conscious of the limits of our resources that we were in the Industrial Revolution.
That said, I can see this in the push of the electric vehicles. We will still need oils to lubricate movable parts so that can't just be stopped. Second, why are those that are pushing "green energy" with electric vehicles not thinking about the disposable of batteries. Batteries produce acid. Acid contaminates the ground. Corporate leaders need to think ahead about this contaminate before we are scratching our heads and wondering how acid has poisoned our grounds.
