This is precisely the attitude that bothers me. It bothered me when I was teaching. It bothers me now that I am a writer.

How dare anyone who says that the way you construct what you are saying doesn't matter. It tells the reader a lot about who you are as a writer and whether or not the writer cares about the reader.
