To me, the people who moan and groan about unfairness at Medium are the people who really have a lot to learn about their writing career. I rarely read this kind of article. Just like I gloss over or skip entirely the articles about how you to can make big bucks writing. They make it sound easy when it is actually work. Those writers who actually accept that writing is work, that you must work to develop and hone your craft, and that in most cases, the writer must be his/her own champion of the writing are the writers who are succeeding.
