You have hit so many issues and concerns my husband and I have been raising. The statistics just don’t make sense, but the media, news, and politicians keep stressing just how dangerous the virus is.

In addition to an innate immune systems, how many people have never developed an immune system because they grew up in households that were over-bleached with germophobic parents who never followed the 5 second rule (even with the child’s pacificer)? How many have continued to destroy their immune system by over-uing hand sanitizer (which on the news last night here in Tennessee was questioned in a piece on the dangers of hand sanitizer)? We have been indoctrinated through the media and advertizers that all germs are bad. (Think the commercial for one of the floor cleaning products where the lady become grossed out that the dust in her house is composed partly of her own dead skin cells.)

How many people run to the doctor at the first sign of illness (sore throat, cough, etc) instead of letting said illness run its course and build a person’s immune system? How many people have compromised immune systems because they or their parents never completely finished the antibiotics (like instructed) — they stopped when they felt better and saved what was left for the next time they got sick?
